Job Specification Caledonia Training and Consultancy Ltd have recently expanded our portfolio to include On the Job Training at our client’s location abroad, we are seeking a competent Training Manager to develop this new role and lead a team of Training Mentors on a rotational schedule. The successful candidate will be working closely with our clients heads of departments and have the overall responsibility for the training department and its development. Caledonia Training and Consultancy have been providing training and consultancy in the Oil & Gas sector since 1994, we pride ourselves in being a quality training provider in the UK and abroad, the Training Manager will continue to develop this high standard at our client’s base. Candidate Profile Required The successful candidate will be a strong dynamic leader with a proven track record, excellent communication skills and the ability to relate diplomatically to staff, trainees and clients at all levels. Strong organizational and planning skills are essential for this role, along with the ability to encourage and motivate. This position involves consulting with on the job training mentors and classroom training providers to identify training needs and drawing up training plans to meet these needs, also having the ability to evaluate the success of the trainees and the overall programme. To succeed you will need to be a self motivated leader and have a passion for enabling employee development within your remit. You will also have a strong training background, and the ability to adapt and be respectful of different cultures. Computer skills are essential as report creation and management are integral for this position. You will preferably be from a Drilling background although this is not essential.
