Independent, Quality Assured, Certification Standards for the International Oil Industry - the International Well Control Forum (IWCF) is an oil industry Membership Organisation established in 1992.  Its primary purpose is to develop and administer well control certification programmes for personnel employed in oil well Drilling, Workover and Well Intervention operations.

The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) is the national body in Scotland responsible for the development, accreditation, assessment, and certification of qualifications other than degrees.
